This expert is an active participant in and contributor to T10 (SCSI) standards committee since early 1980`s. Technical editor of SVP, the protocol for using SCSI over Infiniband and the VI Architecture. Active participant in and contributor to T11 (Fiber Channel) standards committee since 1995. Author of several definitive performance studies using a custom discrete event simulation model, examining both FC-AL and alternate loop architectures. He is knowledgeable of essentially all storage device interfaces in use or proposed for at least the last ten years. Primary architect of Digital Equipment`s DSA (Digital Storage Architecture) storage device protocols. Technical lead for first generation DLT tape drive controller.
