Expert is a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has over 20 years of experience as a nutritionist within the food industry, developing and launching product lines, conforming them to nutrition and labeling regulations, and educating nutrition-conscious consumers. He has worked for major food and cereal production companies as a Vice President, Nutrition, Director of Nutrition and Labeling Services and Director of Infant Nutrition. His body of work includes research and product development involving fats and carbohydrates across a variety of prepared food products as well as expertise in label regulations.
