I have 21 years of experience in the field of clinical social work with specific knowledge in the areas of forensic social work and ethics, mental health, and cultural competence. I have published on such topics as social work practice methods and cultural competence. I co-created the a certificate program in forensic social work as a means to prepare social workers for partnerships with lawyers and for working in legal arenas. My deep investment in the field of forensic social work is further evidenced by my current service as President of a national organization within my field.
